50,000+ football players of the FIFA players union gave their nominations and voted for the FIFPro World Player of The Year, the 3rd year the award has been given. And the top choice among 50,000+ voting players was AC Milan’s talented midfielder Kaka.

Kaka was very instrumental in leading AC Milan to become champions of the UEFA Champions League last season, and was also the top goal scorer of the Champions League tournament with 10 goals, including 3 in the semi-final win over English Premier League champions Manchester United.

FIFPro Player of the Year Kaka can next be seen in action when AC Milan play away at the Stadio Olimpico to challenge Lazio for an Italian Serie A regular season match. AC Milan recently lost 2-1 group stage match of the European Champions League against Scottish Premiership champions Celtic FC. Kaka scored the only goal for AC Milan through a penalty. Lazio also recently had a Champions League group stage match against Spanish La Liga champions Real Madrid, which resulted in a 2-2 draw.
